God and His love for humankind is the centrepiece of Christian faith. Equally important is man?s response to His love. God loves us intensely and He wants that we should also love Him with the same passion and commitment. This is the essence of the new commandment that Jesus gave to His disciples, ?love one another as I have loved you?. Ministry of care and evangelism should emanate from this consideration. If love is absent or lacking in the church, then whatever we do or say has little or no meaning. What are the reasons for the shallowness of our spirituality? Why the body of Christ is divided into thousands of denominations? How can we find a breakthrough which will enable us to improve our relationship with God and with one another? An attempt has been made in this book to address some of the issues that are listed above with a hope that it will help many Christians in their spiritual journey.
