To help your child to grow in the area of Humility, you should show what it looks like to be humble. Through your dependence on God, you will be able to do this. When your child observes that your value rests in the knowledge that you are created as a son or daughter in the image of God, they will see themselves in the same way. Another beautiful way to practice humility is to serve. Serving their family, one another, and the local church lifts their eyes to others instead of themselves. Developing a heart that is grateful and loving is a great way to produce humility. “But he gives more grace. Therefore, it say, ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”(James 4:6)
